Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter (melted)
2 apples - peeled & grated - I used the green granny smith apples
1 egg
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
Crumble:
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
Instructions:
After the butter is melted, mix together the grated apples, maple syrup, honey, and egg. Add in cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and vanilla, then fold in the flour. Line your loaf pan with parchment paper and bake at 350 for 40-55 minutes.
While the apple bread is baking, make up the crumble for later. Melt the butter, add in pumpkin pie spice, and brown sugar. Slowly chop the flour into the butter mixture so it creates a crumble texture.
When the bread is done, add the crumble to the top and let it cool for about a hour.
